Team Progress
Our team held a meeting this week where we discussed what body mods we were going to implement. We also discussed what would happen when the player dies and how body mod swapping would work. We then divided up the work for the week
Individual Contributions
This week, I was in charge of designing the tiles for our game. To make it easier, I decided to find similar style existing tiles and then colour match them to fit each other and our game style/aesthetic instead of creating them from scratch. For the floor and wall tiles, I chose several different tile material types since we haven't decided on how the factory was going to look material-wise.

I also continued working on the sound design for our game this week. Based on feedback from the team, I began fiddling around with different light ambient sounds. I ended up settling on an angelic pad sound I created from a classical guitar note sample with some effects applied to it.
The angelic pad, which is the bottom track.
I also worked on the walking sound effect for our game. Since we haven't decided on the material of our factory floor, I found it difficult to create the walking sound since different floor materials and room sizes produce different echos and sound qualities. To make it easier, I decided to use existing sounds for walking on different floor types as it would make it easier to match the sound quality of each floor and room instead of trying to do so from scratch.
Reflection
One issue that occurred this week was that we haven't decided on the material of our factory floor and walls. This made it difficult to create our game's tiles and the player's walking sound effects. To make this easier, I chose to use existing tiles and sound effects instead of having to create them from scratch as this mad it easier to find different options for our team to chose from. For next week, we will decide on the floor and wall material and choose the tiles and walking sound effects that fit.
